Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0: To provide gas connection to every household in the country, the Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in the year 2016, in which lakhs of women are getting full benefits of the scheme. In view of the successful implementation of the scheme, the government is operating the scheme at various levels and currently the third phase in the form of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 has also started. Under which those women who could not get the benefit of the scheme in the first two phases can apply.

PM Ujjwala Yojana has been started to provide free LPG gas connections to women of all poor families of the country.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide relief to women from diseases caused by smoke and to prevent negative effects on the environment.

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0

The benefit of PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 will be available to those women who are permanent residents of India.

If women have not been able to apply in the first and second phase of PM Ujjwala Scheme, then they will be given the opportunity to apply in the third phase.

To apply, the minimum age of the woman applying must be 18 years.

This scheme is beneficial for women holding ration cards.

For this, the woman should not already have a gas connection.

The annual income of the family of a woman in rural area should be less than ₹ 1,00,000 and in urban area should be less than ₹ 2,00,000.

Women belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SC/ST category will be eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.

How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 (PMUY)
- Visit the Official Website:
- Go to the official PMUY website: www.pmuy.gov.in.
- Access the Application Page:
- On the homepage, click on “Apply for New Ujjwala 3.0 Connection.”
- Choose a Gas Agency:
- Select one of the following gas agencies:
- Indane
- Bharat Gas
- HP Gas
- Select one of the following gas agencies:
- Go to the Selected Agency’s Website:
- After selecting Bharat Gas, for example, go to their website.
- Find the New Connection Option:
- On the new website’s homepage, click on “Ujjwala 3.0 New Connection.”
- Declare and Select Location:
- Tick the “Hereby Declare” box, select your state and district, and click “Show List.”
- Select a Distributor:
- A list of distributors in your district will appear. Select the nearest one and click “Continue.”
- Submit Mobile Number:
- Enter your mobile number and the captcha code, then submit.
- Fill the Application Form:
- A form will appear. Fill it carefully without any mistakes.
- Upload Documents:
- Upload the required scanned copies of your documents.
- Submit the Form:
- Click on the submit button to complete the application.
- Print the Application:
- Print the application form and attach copies of your important documents.
- Submit to Gas Agency:
- Submit the printed form and documents to the nearest gas agency.
- Review and Approval:
