Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the RBI officer posts, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. For DEPR and DSIM posts, specific educational qualifications in economics, statistics, or related fields are required.
- Age Limit: The age limit for general category candidates is between 21 and 30 years. There are age relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
RBI Officer Vacancy Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: This is the first stage of the selection process. It is an online objective test. The test covers subjects like English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
- Main Examination: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the main examination. This test includes both objective and descriptive questions. The subjects include English, Economic and Social Issues, and Finance and Management.
- Interview: Candidates who clear the main examination will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination and the interview.
