PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 :PM Vishwakarma Yojana (Modi 3 Lakh Loan Scheme) is an initiative by the Government of India to support and uplift the artisans and craftsmen of Vishwakarma community. On 1 February 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. Under this scheme, the government will provide various types of training and coaching to the eligible beneficiaries. During the training, the beneficiaries will also receive an amount of ₹500 per day. Additionally, the government will deposit an amount of ₹15000 directly into the bank account to purchase the tool kit.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, members of the Vishwakarma community will get the opportunity to get free training. Also, to start your business, you can get a loan up to ₹ 300000 from the government at only 5% interest rate. This amount will be given in two phases – ₹100000 in the first phase and ₹200000 in the second phase.

The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana is to provide qualified training to all castes and give them loans at low interest rates to start their own business. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance for training to skilled artisans. This scheme is especially important for the artisans of Vishwakarma community. Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024
All castes of Vishwakarma community will benefit from this scheme. It includes more than 140 castes including Baghel, Badgar, Bagga, Bhardwaj, Lohar and Panchal. The government will provide loans to 18 traditional businesses under this scheme. A budget of Rs 13 thousand crore has been set for this.
Under this scheme, only craftsmen and artisans will get certificates and ID cards, which will give them a new identity. The objective of the scheme is to provide training and financial assistance to the castes of Vishwakarma community, so that they can get work using their skills.
Through this scheme, loans at low interest rates are provided to the castes of Vishwakarma community, so that they can establish their own employment and contribute to the development of the country. Under this scheme, a loan of ₹300,000 is given at 5% interest rate, which includes a loan of ₹100,000 in the first phase and ₹200,000 in the second phase.
The scheme has been created to link craftsmen and skilled artisans to banks and small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), so that they can strengthen their economic condition and make better use of their talent.
