But know that Instant e-PAN can be used only in digital form. If you want to get a physical Pan Card Online Apply then you have to apply for it through NSDL or UTIITSL website.

Pan Card Online Apply through Income Tax e-filing portal

  • First of all you have to go to the official website of Income Tax e-filing portal incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
  • After going to the main page of the portal, click on the option of “Get New e-PAN”.
  • After clicking, enter your Aadhaar number on the Get New e-PAN page, click on I confirm that checkbox and Continue.
  • After this, OTP validation page will come, in this you have to click on the option of “I Have Read The Consent Terms And Agree To Proceed Further” and click on “Continue”.
  • Now an OTP will be received on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar which has to be authenticated.
  • Then click on the checkbox to validate the Aadhaar details with UIDAI and continue.
  • After that, Validate Aadhaar Details page will appear, click on I Accept that checkbox and continue.
  • After completing these steps, you will get an Acknowledgment Number, it has to be saved.
  • Then you will receive a confirmation message on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and in this way the process of Online Pan Card Apply will be completed.

Pan Card Online Apply from NSDL Portal

  • To apply for a new Pan Card Online Apply, first go to the official website of NSDL.
  • There in the main page select the type of application –
    • Indian citizen
    • foreign national
    • New PAN or change/update in existing PAN data
  • After this select your category among individual, trust, institution, firm etc.
  • After selecting enter your name, date of birth, email id and your mobile number.
  • After that submit this form after which you will get a message.
  • Here you click on the “Continue with the PAN Application Form” button.
  • Then you will reach a new page, submit your digital e-KYC here and tell whether you want a physical PAN card or not.
  • After that enter the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number and fill the personal information step by step in the form.
  • After this, enter your area code, AO type and other information and submit the required documents.
  • After this, submit the PAN card application and pay the fee by going to the Payment Section.
  • After payment, you will get the payment slip, now click on Continue, tick the declaration for Aadhaar authentication and select the option of Authenticate.
  • Now click on the option of Continue with e-KYC and authenticate the OTP received on your mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
  • Then click on submit and select the option of Continue with e-Sign.
  • After that verify the OTP again by entering the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
  • Now you will receive an acknowledgment slip, it will be in PDF file whose password will be your date of birth, date of birth will be in the format DDMMYYYY.

Pan Card Online Apply from UTIITSL Portal

  • First of all, go to the official website of UTIITSL and go to PAN Services and select “PAN Card for Indian Citizen/NRI”.
  • After that click on “Apply for New PAN Card (Form 49A)” option in the new page.
  • After that choose Physical or Digital Mode.
  • After selection, an application form will open, fill it carefully step by step.
  • Then re-check the filled information and submit it.
  • After this, proceed with the OTP verification and make online fee payment by selecting any one of the available payment gateway options.
  • Now you will receive a slip, save it and take a print out of the application.
  • Put your signature on the print out with 2 passport size photographs and then upload the completely filled application form along with other important documents and upload it online.
  • After online submission, bring all the documents to the nearby UTIITSL office for PAN card.

Bill, certificate of gas connection etc.
  • SSLC certificate, marksheet etc. for birth certificate.

  • First of all, go to UTIITSL website https://www.utiitsl.com/.
  • Click on the option of PAN Card Application Status given in the main page.
  • Now submit your coupon number along with your date of birth/incorporation/agreement and captcha code on the PAN card application status page.
  • Your application status will be displayed as soon as you submit it.
