What is Bihar Free Coaching Yojana 2024?
The Bihar government has announced a new initiative, the Bihar Free Coaching Yojana 2024. This scheme aims to provide free coaching to students from economically weaker sections. 6 months free coaching will be provided to the eligible candidates to prepare for the competitive exam.

Those candidates who cannot get coaching due to financial weakness will get a chance to get free training.

Candidates will be selected for a total of 4560 seats in each district of the state and 120 candidates will be appointed in each training centre.

This scheme is prescribed for candidates coming from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

Here, candidates will be selected on the basis of multiple choice written examination and counseling as per the prescribed syllabus for the competitive examinations to be held under the respective course.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, 75% attendance of students has been made mandatory.

Training will be provided in two groups in each training centre.

In this, the first group batch will be conducted for the candidates appearing in Civil Services competitive examination and the second group batch will be conducted for the candidates appearing in Railway/Banking, SSC etc. competitive examinations.

Under the scheme, students will also be provided incentive amount at the rate of ₹ 3000 if they register 75% attendance.
